Credit Controller Full Time
Our client is an established national Landscape Maintenance service provider, consisting of a network of 46 franchise businesses throughout the UK, supplying grounds maintenance and associated services to a wide client base.
They are seeking the support of a diligent and personable *** Credit Controller *** to support the dynamic, collaborative, and successful Credit Control team, someone who wants to grow with their organisation and become part of a fantastic, supportive team.
The business generates approximately 5,000 customer invoices per month across 6,000 customer accounts, where this Credit Control opportunity will be responsible for 1/3rd of this.
Primary Responsibilities for the Credit Controller:
- To control and manage the customer accounts assigned, ensuring all collections are made in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers
- Effectively reduce DSOs and minimise bad debts to maximise the company’s “collection performance”
- To develop a close working relationship with the franchise network
- Produce account reconciliation and information, both internally and externally, maintaining all customer records and ledger accounts
- Manage incoming and outgoing calls to ensure all customer queries are logged and resolved efficiently
- Undertake administrative duties as required e.g., supply statements, copy invoices, credits, applying credit terms to accounts, legal recovery etc.
- Processing payment allocation to your ledger in a timely fashion
- Resolving remittance issues with customers
- To be responsible for suspense review and resolving amounts held on suspense
- Aged debt reporting, weekly banking reporting and weekly bank reconciliation responsibilities

Education & Experience:
- Previous experience in Credit Control – Ideally 2 years minimum
- AAT (or equivalent) beneficial
- MS applications and MS Dynamics operating system experience useful
Located in Brackley, our client’s office hours are 8.30 am – 5.00 pm (30-minute lunch) – 40 hours per week. They offer 23 holiday days per year + 1 day off for your Birthday, plus bank holidays and Christmas shut-down (reserved from holiday entitlement), contributory pension (5% Employee / 3% Company), Life assurance of x 2 basic salary and on-site parking.
Our client offers and attractive salary of up to £27,000 per annum dependant on credit control experience.
