Embroidery Machine Operator / Apparel Assistant Full Time
Do you have Textiles, Embroiderer or Embroidery Machining experience and are you looking for a permanent full time position in Buckingham?
Our client is an independently owned business that supplies embroidered and printed workwear to businesses and SME’s across the UK.
Due to increased growth and expansion, they are seeking an ***Embroidery Machine Operator / Apparel Assistant *** to join their team in Buckingham.
Ideally you will be experienced in working in an embroidery room environment (although experience in a similar role can be supported with training), working on multi-head embroidery and Textile Transfer print machines (heat press) to accurately complete customer brand workwear orders to a high level of quality and standards.
Embroidery Machine Operator / Apparel Assistant – General responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Identify correct garment SKU’s, sizes, colours and quantities.
- Identify logo and branding placement from customer’s order.
- Setting up machines, including checking and threading up needles where required.
- Manually ‘frame-up’ garments to the embroidery machines.
- Digitise designs and make adjustments as per customer requirements.
Ideally you will have knowledge of working with: Tajima, SWF, Baruden, Happy, ZSK, or Brother embroidery machines applying logos to a variety of branded workwear. Experience of using Wilcom software would be advantageous but not essential at this time. This opportunity will also have some involvement in the warehouse area, such as booking in stock and dispatching orders.
Our client is offering full time hours (Monday to Friday) offering a with an attractive salary in up to / in the region of £25,000 per annum, possible career progression prospects and occasional overtime, and many additional company benefits.
