We’re looking for an Operations and Projects Manager to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in our client’s event and marketing business.
As the Operations and Projects Manager, you’ll be at the helm of a talented team, overseeing every aspect of our operations to drive revenue growth and meet profit targets, all while ensuring safety and efficiency.
Craft our annual Event Marketing plan.
Review and green-light the revenue and operational aspects of each project.
Continuously improve our processes for operational excellence, efficiency, and safety.
Analyze performance data, from financials to sales and productivity, to gauge our department’s effectiveness.
Team Development and Performance:
Foster a high-performing and tightly knit events team, known for their quality work and strong teamwork.
Provide training and support to empower employees to take ownership of their roles.
Set quarterly goals for team leads and guide individual employees to meet production, quality, and goal achievement expectations.
Address under-performance with Personal Improvement Plans (PIP) where necessary.
Recognize and reward exceptional performance.
Growth and Revenue:
Drive consistent and predictable revenue growth and profitability for the business.
Set and achieve challenging sales targets.
Collaborate with Finance to monitor profitability and reduce waste while enhancing efficiency.
Expand the reach of our clients operations, including televised events.
Lead weekly sales and strategy meetings to review progress and set targets.
Collaborate with our Logistics lead to ensure scalable and safe operational excellence.
Plan project resources while aligning with profit margins.
Ensure our systems facilitate a seamless customer journey.
Standardize processes throughout the customer journey to ensure consistency.
Take accountability for event resourcing, profitability, and Health & Safety, both in the depot and on-site.
Ensure the creative team effectively supports the Sales and Logistics teams.
Maintain an organized and accessible resource library.
Ensure the creative team delivers impactful imagery.
Encourage innovation in discovering new sites, structures, and products.
Regularly report project revenue and operations to the Managing Director.
Provide monthly insights into the sales and project pipeline.
Lead weekly meetings with team leads from Logistics, Sales, and Creative departments.
Foster open communication with other managers and build strong client relationships through transparent communication.
Develop and implement an exceptional and hassle-free customer journey for our clients.
Ideally, possess industry knowledge in installations, construction, or projects.
Willingness to travel for training, client and site visits, and networking events across the UK.
