Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Production Operator to join their dynamic production and manufacturing team located on the outskirts of Brackley. They’re a 30-year established business who specialise in the design and manufacture of electronic assemblies and enclosures.

 

Responsible for assemblies and the manufacture of components and products, candidates will have the following skills:

 

  • Good logic and attention to detail.
  • Experience of using hand-tools in a work capacity.
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing / production company (desirable).
  • Confident and practical.
  • Ability to work in a team and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Computer literate and good basic maths.
  • Understand technical drawings (desirable).
  • Motivated and hard working.
  • Willingness to learn.

 

Main Duties & Accountabilities for the Production Operator job role will include (full training offered):

 

  • Assembly of plastic enclosure components, following assembly diagrams and technical specifications.
  • Assemble electronic and mechanical components accurately and efficiently into enclosures, following assembly diagrams and technical specifications.
  • Inspect finished products for defects and Quality Assurance
  • Soldering of PCBs and cable assemblies once trained.
  • Use digital printers, bonding machines and load software once trained.

 

This is a full-time permanent position with working hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday to Thursday, early finish on a Friday (2:30 PM). Our client is happy to consider candidates with experience of using hand-tools, who may have limited production experience. Salary offered is dependent on experience.
