Location: Brackley, Northamptonshire Type: Permanent, Office-Based Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 plus bonus Hours: 40 hours per week About the Opportunity Are you driven by the thrill of securing new business? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a dynamic team as a *** National Accounts Business Development Associate ***. This role is pivotal in driving our continued growth, focusing on identifying and nurturing key accounts across various sectors. Your New Role As a National Accounts Business Development Associate, you'll be the frontline ambassador for our client’s brand, playing a crucial role in expanding their reach and deepening their market penetration. You'll engage in:
- Crafting and executing strategies to generate new leads, including cold calling and networking, to engage with key decision-makers.
- Managing and nurturing a pipeline of customer opportunities alongside senior management.
- Contributing to our growth by maintaining a detailed CRM database, ensuring all interactions are recorded accurately.
- Analysing customer activity to understand impacts and identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborating across departments to ensure a cohesive approach to business development and customer service.
What You'll Bring
- At least 2 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record in new business acquisition and account growth.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- A self-motivated, persuasive, and strategic mindset, capable of thinking big while paying attention to the details.
- Strong organisational skills, including effective time management and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the plumbing or drainage is advantageous but not essential.
