
Stock Controller opportunity within a thriving business!
Department: Operations. Location: Brackley area, site based. Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum (c. £12.10 per hour / 40 hpw), normal working days (8am start) with an early finish on Fridays. Reports To: Operations/Production & Finance Managers
About the Stock Controller role:
Our client, a key player in a niche manufacturing sector, is currently seeking a diligent *** Stock Controller *** to join their team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of stock-related activities within the business. Stock Controller Responsibilities:
- Goods In: Oversee the receipt of items, ensuring order accuracy, compliance, and proper storage.
- Picking and Kitting: Accurately kit jobs for works orders, manage store kits, and support warehouse and line-side Kanban.
- Stock Maintenance: Keep minimum stock levels, collaborating with Purchasing to set and monitor these levels.
- Stock Checking: Conduct regular stock counting and inventory accuracy checks, including cycle stock checks.
- Goods Out / Despatch: Organise the timely dispatch of finished goods, adhering to sales and operations requests.
- General Duties: Maintain tidy and well-organised stock areas, ensure adherence to company processes, and assist in ISO9001 & ISO14001 compliance efforts.
Stock Controller skills and experience:
Experienced in warehouse or stock control, with a forklift license preferred. Proficient with basic PC skills, numeracy, and good written and spoken English language skills. Highly organised with a passion for improving operational processes.
