New Job Opportunity: Production Supervisor (Electronics), Brackley
Our client, with over 30 years of history, provides an exceptional opportunity for a Production Supervisor (Electronics) to join their team in Brackley.
Primarily working with electronics based products, ensuring the quality is maintained throughout the production process as well as production targets being met.
Electronics Production Supervisor Responsibilities Include:
- Assembly and test of electronics based products
- Resolve minor production issues as required (for example parts shortages, drawing or instruction errors, basic fault finding and correction).
- Help maintain and implement the production plan as set forward by the production planner.
- Ensure that your team is fully trained in all aspects relating to their work seeking outside help when needed.
- Ensure quality processes are implemented and maintained to work towards “Right First Time & No Fault Forward”.
- Ensure that any new processes are properly communicated through the team, making sure that the entire team is on board and understands what is required of them.
- Ensuring clarity production is up to date and used correctly.
- Developing your team’s skills and ensuring personal progression continues.
- Work with the Quality Engineer to ensure that any equipment used within your department is properly maintained and used in the correct manner.
- Work with the operations team to assess and continuously improve productivity and quality.
Participate in production meetings, providing insights and updates on resource availability and team members performance.
Electronics Production Supervisor - General:
- Collaborate with engineering teams to assess and implement process and design improvements to enhance production efficiency.
- Undertake specific projects and tasks, as and when required.
- Any other relevant and reasonable duties that may be requested by management.
Electronics Production Supervisor Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Production Operatives
Other Information relating to the Production Supervisor (Electronics) role:
- Must be comfortable working with electronics and computer/software-based products.
- Basic soldering, wiring, electronics test and fault-finding skills desirable.
- Strong IT skills would be an advantage.
What Our Client Offers:
This position is full-time and permanent, operating Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with an early finish on Fridays.
